New Brunswick

On the east coast, New Brunswick is the gateway to Atlantic Canada.

New Brunswick is Canada’s only officially bilingual province. The western portion of the province is home to a large number of French-speaking “Acadians”, while the eastern portion is more influenced by the Scottish and Irish maritime culture. New Brunswick is home to rocky, picturesque shorelines and fishing villages, and offers a wide range of outdoor experiences, from sailing in the Bay of Fundy to hiking through the national parks. For those who prefer urban life, Fredericton, St. John and Moncton each offer some of the features of the big city, while maintaining the feel of their small-town origins.

If you’d like to be where French history meets Irish and Scottish maritime culture, New Brunswick may be the place for you!
