Saskatchewan is known as “Canada’s bread basket” due to the large number of wheat farms that line its highways. It is a mainly rural province, home to farms in the south and forests and lakes in the north. Its residents are known for their small-town hospitality and traditional country lifestyle. Saskatchewan is home to a large indigenous population, whose heritage is on display at Regina’s Royal Saskatchewan Museum.

If you’d like to sample life on the prairie, Saskatchewan may be the place for you!
